A mother-daughters trio. A beautiful décor store aptly titled Peacock Life in which a Landscapist, an Interior Designer and an Artist come together with many other keen contributors is a wonderful story.
I got in touch with Ganga Kadakia, an artist par excellence recently, because I absolutely loved a preview of her paintings that a friend showed me. Googling her, I found out about her store Peacock Life in Mumbai that she had opened with her sister Shabnam Gupta and mum Neelam Sagar. Isn’t it lovely that their family finds ways to work together professionally, complementing each others core strengths? What’s more applaudable is the fact that they have all emerged from a painful journey that had struck down all their sensitive and logical beliefs. Their rise is therefore more special, and it all speaks for itself in their beautiful store in Andheri.
These women are not novices in their fields. They boast of an esteemed clientele, including a prominent liquor baron, a famous Indian writer, film stars and other celebrities.
