Well, you saw her garden. Now, it’s time to see her home. Located in a quiet part of Jayanagar, Anu’s 1800 sq.ft 3-bedroom apartment is a treat to the eyes. Anu has spent months decorating it in her simple, stunning style and I am the lucky blogger who gets to feature it first. However, Anu, generous soul that she is, has saved more pictures for the other bloggers who asked her (a tad later than me, hehe) so don’t forget to check all your favorite interior blogs for more pics of Anu’s home soon.

Now I know I said I wouldn’t say much, but I have to share with you that the lights inside the bar unit are stick and click lights that run on battery. If you don’t have wiring done inside cabinets, no worries! These are great as spotlights! Just peel off sticker and stick them on to any surface. Switch on and off by pressing on the lights, how cool is that!

Thank you Anu, for sharing these lovely pics! Anu shares my opinion that a home needs to ‘grow’ and develop slowly rather than be done up all at once. So, keep in mind that she has a lot more “collecting” to do, and I’ll be sure to feature her home again, when she has some more corners done up and ready to share!

Lovely home, Anu. Where did you get the tree of life curtain made? It's really nice. And now, as Sharon said, I get the resemblance between railway clock/orange wall.
Lakshmi, thx! I bought the curtain from a stall in the Dastakaar fair in Bangalore in 2010. The folk sellng were from Delhi perhaps.

Love the clean, uncluttered look and artsy corners. The kitsch kettle is a real beauty. Those stick on lamps are wonderful. Where do you get them? I have not seen them in the shops around chennai.

Hi Iniyaal, I haven't seen the stick and click lights here as well. They're available in many stores in the US. I got them from there.
Rupa, congrats on the house! What fun to do it up! We got the jhoola from Thar here in Bangalore. It's on the Inner Ring Road, closer to Indiranagar.
Rupa, you can also try Maram, Oriental Haveli, and The Vintage Shop in Bangalore.

About the lights, they're available in Radio Shack type of electronic stores, Target and also Bed Bath and Beyond. I think any large dept. or elec store will have them. If you're willing to pay customs and shipping, Amazon has them too! Hope this helps…
Lovely home Anu- Loved the orange wall, the antiques, LOVED the swing and your serenity corner.
What an aesthetically done up home! I especially loved the tree of life design on the curtain and the Warli art in the dining area. Besides, each and every corner has been so very tastefully done. Kudos, Anu! 🙂
