I recently received an email from Ayesha Puri introducing her range of decorative cushions. I know, I know every second designing house has their own line of decorative cushion covers – what else would they do with the meters of waste cloth from their other designs? But, there is a certain freshness to Ayesha’s work – I can’t quite put a finger on what makes it stand apart (hmm maybe it’s those paisley designs that I am so partial to), but I would sure love to own some of these.
When I asked her about how All Things Pretty came about, here’s what she had to say, “I was hugely inspired to start my own home furnishings venture when I was setting up my apartment two years ago and shopping for a lot of cushions and linen in general. I think that was really the trigger. Currently, we focus on decorative cushions and table linen. We are slowly looking at expanding more aggressively into table linen, bed linen, etc.” Don’t you just love her spunk?
The best thing about Ayesha’s products are the prices – the cushion covers are priced between INR 500 to 1100, and many of them are on silk, semi brocade, etc. Her summer range (like the one’s featured below) are in chikan and quilted fabrics.
