A professor of English, Dharitri Gogoi has a unique ‘quaint cottage decor meets Van Gogh’ style of decorating, in her rental home in Delhi. It is a unique style and one that I have never come across in all my years as a decor blogger. I had to record it on this blog!
Dharitri’s decorating style is strewn generously with personal touches, mixed and varied, and you will see that no corner looks the same. Every gaze greets you with a surprise. Enjoy the pics!
Dharitri’s upcycling efforts are visible throughout the home – with these charming old tables, that have been given a new lease of life, with bright colours and artwork
You will see regular wooden furniture co-exist happily with Dharitri’s hand painted upcycled furniture pieces!
Colors and a casual style with earthy decor sourced from craftspeople are visible throughout Dharitri’s space!
The tablecloths around the home add vintage charm to Dharitri’s space and lend a warm, cosy feel to the home.
My style can be defined as a lot of contemporary and a bit of eclectic, I also believe in upcyling and using much more environment friendly and sustainable decor.

Handpainted elements like these painted cushion covers are pretty personal touches.
The stack of books is put to good use – and this pic is so telling!
Antiques and vintage elements blend in to the decor and this frame with its flowers and berries is magical!
